Iatridis Panos
Panos Iatridis, who became widely known through the MasterChef caricature project, was born in 1984 in Athens and hails from the historic town of Astros in Kynouria. He is a visual artist and a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts. His paintings often incorporate elements of comics and cartoons, a characteristic that distinguished his thesis project and earned him a scholarship to the 3rd ANIMART, Summer Meeting on Animation and Other Visual Arts, organized by the Hellenic Audiovisual Institute and the European Animation Center.
Since 2005, he has been actively involved in cartooning and has collaborated with numerous newspapers and magazines. He has participated in many cartoon exhibitions and competitions in Greece and abroad, where he has received significant distinctions, as well as in group painting exhibitions.
He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and the Friends of Cartoon Association. He is also a member of the Federation of Cartoonists Organisations (FECO).
Since 2011, he has been working as a visual arts teacher in primary education.
Since 2007, he has maintained the blog panosiatridis.gr, one of the first thematic blogs in Greece, featuring cartoons that satirize current events.
