Epitidiou Katerina

Katerina Epitidiou is an artist, graduate of the School of Fine Arts (Integrated Master).

She was born in 1977 and grew up in Evia. She studied at the Artistic Workshop of the painter and academic Dimitris Mytaras, gaining the needed experience in order to enter the Academy of Fine Arts. She began her studies at ASKT in 2004 at the A Painting Workshop having teachers Zacharias Arvanitis and Angelos Antonopoulos and she has since settled in Athens. In 2010 she graduated with honors from the Painting department. During her five years studies she was also taught the art of Ceramics, Engraving and Mosaic.

In terms of style and artistic technique, her work is symbolist, as she was greatly influenced by symbolist artists, as well as by mythology, literature and poetry.

She has exhibited her works individually in various galleries and in group exhibitions or artistic festivals in Athens.

Alongside her artistic work creations, she has been teaching painting since 2012 until today.
