Gounari Eleni

She was born in Athens and lives in Zante. She studied painting at the "School of Fine Arts" in Athens and scenography. She holds a master's degree in the management of cultural units. She has had five individual exhibitions and has taken part in over eighty group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.

She has illustrated book covers and made sets and costumes for theatrical plays. Since 2009 she has been teaching at the TEI of the Ionian Islands, in the direction of cultural heritage conservation. She is a member of several artistic committees and boards. She has been awarded many times for her artwork.
